XenTech is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) offering tumor xenograft-based services in preclinical oncology.

To foster therapeutic development in oncology, XenTech performs preclinical pharmacology studies using one of the world’s largest and best characterized collection of patient-derived primary tumor xenograft models (PDX) established without intermediary cell culture.

XenTech’s preclinical platform is based on panels of human tumor xenografts with clinically relevant characteristics defined by genomics and chemosensitivity data. This platform allows reliable preclinical validation studies that increase the chances of success of oncology compounds beyond phase 1 development.
Studies conducted at XenTech complete the preclinical screening performed by pharmaceutical companies and contribute to more efficient clinical trial design by:
  • Predicting activity of compounds in specific tumor types
  • Allowing better activity profiling and response marker identification by performing efficacy studies in tumor panels that recapitulate tumor heterogeneity found in clinical populations

  • The world's largest panel of breast cancer PDX

XenTech offers its expertise in preclinical oncology and is rapidly expanding its range of tumor models and technologies, such as non-invasive imaging to monitor orthotopic and metastatic tumor growth as well as PDX-derived primary cell culture assays.
