XenTech is located in Genopole®, France's leading biopark dedicated to biotechnology and research in genomics. Genopole® hosts private-and public-sector research laboratories and more than 60 biotech companies.
As part of the Genopole campus scientific community, XenTech has access to several technological platforms, such as DNA microarray, imaging and cytometry, atomic force microscopy, mass spectrometry, NMR and cell sorting. XenTech occupies 1600sqf of private laboratory and office space at the Pépinière Genopole® Entreprises, that was specifically designed for efficient and flexible function. In addition to shared Genopole® technological platforms mentioned above, our laboratory is equiped for molecular biology and tissue culture. The in vivo studies of XenTech are conducted in the Center for Exploration and Experimental Functional Research (CERFE), in Evry, a state-of-the-art specific pathogen free (SPF) facility meeting the highest technical standards. In vivo studies are conducted in conformity with national veterinarian regulations as defined by the French Ministry in charge and the Ile de France Ethics Committee. XenTech utilizes Individually Ventilated Cages (IVC) systems forl housing. The IVC systems supply and exhaust air through H.E.P.A. filters for each individual cage. Use of these caging systems minimizes pathogen exposure under study by providing each individual cage with many complete air changes per hour. This sterile environment increases efficiency and separates colonies, minimizing possible environmental contamination within the facility. XenTech has a production capacity of 1000 cages. |
